Goals: Ashley Hilliard 3, Cameron Geran

A good game played in very cold conditions with the Pins proving just a little to strong for a determined Sidmouth Side. Goals in the first half for Pinhoe came from Ashley Hilliard and a Wonder strike from Cameron Geran.

The Pins sealed the game with a quick goal right from the kick off by Ashley Hilliard and later in the half Ashley Hilliard completed his hattrick. A well deserved consolation goal to the Sidmouth team came with 15 minutes remaining.

5th November 2008
Pinhoe Spartans 5 v 2 St Martins
Goals: Ashley Hilliard, Dominic Ditchburn, Jamie Burrough, Zac Phillips, Luke Phillips

A geat game played in very boggy conditions with the scoreline slightly flattering the home side. St Martins came out much the stronger and took the lead through a finely taken goal by Hugh Stronge. The Pins started to fight back with Ashley Hilliard and Dominci Ditchburn both scoring. Just before the whistle for half time Hugh Stronge scored again for the visitors. The 2nd half was a very tight affair with neither team getting a breakthrough until the Pins sprung the offside trap with a good run from Jamie Burrough and a well taken goal.

The 4th goal came from a great run from Ollie Frankum who pulled the ball back for Zachary Phillips to sweep the ball into the corner of the net. St Martins fought back hard to get back into the game but a really well taken free kick from Luke Phillips secured the points for Pinhoe.
