Pinhoe Spartans 6 v 0 Broadclyst
Goals: Harry Molins,
Josh Riglar (2),
Michael Lyroudias,
Jordan Forde (2)
The scoreline suggests that this was an easy win for the Pins in the first round of the cup. However it was far from one -way traffic.
Michael Lyroudias was very lively in the first half and scored his first goal for Pinhoe, opening up the scoring with a close range shot. Pinhoe then put a really good move together involving Rory,Tyler, Michael and finally Josh Riglar folowed up to make it 2-0.
Broadclyst put on plenty of pressure throughout the half but Josh Riglar, Josh Reed and Rory got their heads under every ball in the Pinhoe half.
Broadclyst continued their pressure early in the second half but Josh & Rory remained solid in defence. When Broadclyst won a free kick on the edge of the area the Pinhoe wall did its job despite the fact two players chose to face the wrong direction and stick their bums out.
Pinhoe went 3-0 up after some great chasing by Brandon and battling from Harry.
Jordon Forde then picked up a loose ball and put Pinhoe 4-0 up with a tremendous strike that left the keeper with no chance. Two more goals from Josh Riglar and Jordan came as a result of some great moves involving five players.
Finally - great dive Harry-Ronaldo eat your heart out
Well Played boys-

Pinhoe Spartans 4 v 2 West Exe
Goals: Harry Molins, Michael Lyroudias, Tyler Smith (2)
This was a really good game and the scoreline could have been very different had it not been for some great saves by both goal keepers. Pinhoe went 1-0 up after a goal mouth scramble in which the West Exe keeper made two saves before Tyler Smith found the net.
Michael Lyroudias put Pinhoe 2-0 up with a tight angled shot following a clearence from Jack.
West Exe then put a good move together and pulled a goal back. Pinhoe continued to play well with shots from Tyler and Rory. However Pinhoe were soon caught with everyone up front and the defence were exposed and West Exe made it 2-2.
Soon after Tyler Smith picked up a loose ball and fired in to restore Pinhoe's lead.
The second half was again close with shots from Josh Riglar and Rory. In the Pinhoe goal Jack Telfer pulled off two fantastic saves, the second one he tipped a great shot over the bar.
Harry contiued to battle up front and put the game beyond doubt to make it 4-2.
West Exe continued to play well but Pinhoe's defence of Josh Reed and Rory remained solid throughout.
Another great team performance with lots of good passing from everyone. Well played lads

Pinhoe Spartans 2 v 0 Heavitree Harriers
Goals: Brandon Carnall
A very good display from all the boys saw another good win against a good Heavitree side.
Tyler Smith played some of his best football of the season in this game never giving up on anything and running the Harriers defence inside out.
It was a great ball from Smith that set up Brandon for his first goal of the game,a well taken strike that gave the keeper no chance.
Second half Heavitree slowly got back into the game and thanks to a great save from Jack Telford the pins kept there lead.
Pinhoe slowly got stronger and stronger and before long the presure payed of with some great play from Josh Riglar and Jake Proctor set up Carnall for his second of the game. And that was how the game finished.Well played to Josh Reed and Corey Handcock in defense. WELL PLAYED BOYS.....

Pinhoe Spartans 2 v 1 Central Utd
Goals: Josh Rigler,
Tyler Smith
This was a really close fought match, with both teams sharing possession. During the first half Pinhoe had plenty of shots but were only able to convert one effort- Josh Rigler scored after some great battling from Josh Reed.
The second half started equally tight but soon after Jake Proctor knocked the the ball forward and Tyler Smith struck home to put Pinhoe 2-0 up. Central maintained the pressure and eventually this paid off with a well worked move they pulled a goal back to make it 2-1. The rest of the game was equally closley fought with both sides having chances. Well played Pinhoe- a great team effort.

Pinhoe Spartans 2 v 2 Central City
Goals: Josh Rigler 2
Pinhoe made three changes for this match. The new plaayers all slotted comfortably into the team. Pinhoe had more of the play with plenty of chances in the first half with Josh Rigler, Jordan Ford and Kai Salam all coming close. However once again it was Josh Rigler who put away his chance to put Pinhoe 1-0 up. Central continued to put on pressure and big clearance from their keeper beat our defence allowing Central to level the score. Soon after Tyler Smith's long shot was surely goal bound but Josh Rigler popped up on the far post make sure and claim his second goal.
During the second half Pinhoe again had plenty of chances with efforts from Tyler Smith and Kai Salam. Even Rory Gladstone ventured out of defence but shot wide. Meanwhile Central had a good effort from a free kick forcing Jack Telfer to pull off a great save. In the final seconds of the game Central scored an equaliser following a goal mouth scramble which Pinhoe should have cleared. Another good game and great team performace, well done all the whole team.

Thorverton 5 v 0 Pinhoe Spartans
Never really got going in this game, not to take anything away from a strong Thorverton side that seem to play the long ball for most of the game and we could not cope with it. thanks to Jack in goal the score was kept down to just 5!!!.Must not dwell on this result boys but learn from it..
Unlucky lads lets move on and start again....

Exwick 4 v 2 Pinhoe Spartans
Goals: Brandon Carnall 1,
Jake Proctor 1
A good all round display from all the boys, from defence to attack everyone played their part in a cracking game of football.Goals from Brandon Carnall and Jake Proctor were not enough to beat a very good Exwick side.
Must mention Jordan Ford who had a very good game and was unlucky not to score after a brilliant run down the right and a cracking shot that just went wide.
WELL PAYED BOYS....

Pinhoe Spartans 4 v 0 Crediton
Goals: Tyler Smith 2,
Kai Salam 1, Josh Riglar 1
From the first whistle pinhoe played some great football, not just on the ball but off it as well the marking and work rate was tremendous.
Two goals from Tyler Smith in the first half put the pins well in control against a team we have never beaten before the boys went from strength to strength with some outstanding football being played.Well played to Jake Proctor on the right hand side of the pitch and man of match Josh Riglar who in the middle of the pitch did not put a foot wrong.
Second half things got even better with some great play on the right and a good pass lead to Kai Salam putting the pins three up then after some near misses Josh Riglar made it four nill.
Must mention Brandon and Josh Reed in defence who both had excellent games. Well played also to Jack Telford in goal.
WELL PLAYED BOYS........
